Whittier Art Association and Gallery

This is the Whittier Gallery's very popular annual exhibition of exquisite miniature artwork. Nothing in the show is larger than 10 inches by 10 inches and the pieces within the Special Show Within a Show will be featuring art that is smaller than 7 inches.

 

Art lovers have always had a special place in their hearts for miniatures. "How do they do it?" is a frequent refrain. Here you will find paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry, and ceramics.

 

This genre challenges the creator's skill and attracts the area's finest artists. We are honored to have as judge the internationally acclaimed artist, Setsuko Okubo. A talented pianist and singer, as well as a painter, she brings all those talents into her world view.
